Ethics play an important role in providing psychotherapy to clients. I already deal with the ethics involved with treatment in my Equine Assisted Psychotherapy practice.
In my expanding education, ethics also comes into play. When working on research assignments, writing assignments, or any other type of school work, it is imperative that you complete the work in an ethical and truthful manner. Academic integrity is essential to becoming an ethical psychologist.
Representative of the International Andalusian and Lusitano Horse Association
Exhibition rides to entertain and inform the public about the Andalusian horse. This includes riding at educational seminars, speaking to large crowds, and being an ambassador for the breed. Having horses on display and providing educational material to the public at large shows and venues.
Representing ethical breeding, training, and showing of horses. This is an important part of owning horses these days, as many organizations would like to stop all showing of livestock, including horses.

The artifact that I chose to attach to this ethics page is a journal entry from Psy 491. This shows how I choose what guides my ethical decision making when choosing to support (or not support) a specific cause. This includes personal factors, social factors. It also includes how to decrease cognitive dissonance and how to increase cognitive consonance in my decisions.
